On Yuen was originally opened in Hong Kong, home of the city of delicious asian cuisine. In 1980, Eric, the current owner, immigrated to Canada with hopes of bringing the family business to this new country. Several years later, in 1991, On Yuen was re-opened in Surrey, BC.  Known as the place where locals eat for the past 30 years, On Yuen has become a fan favourite.
